This week Hope a sweet pit mix began to learn the car is not such a scary place.
Using regular treats we managed to get our front paws in the car for a look around. Day two we went a step further, chicken and gravy baby food was good enough for a full entrance in and onto the back seats. Just a few more sessions and my hope is that Hope will be ready to jump in for a ride to the dog park for lots of playful fun with new dog friends.

Can't adopt, you can always help by donating bedding, food, toys or other needed supplies.

Shelters also need volunteers to socialize and help with adoptions too.

Yes, it is ture Blue Dog Adventures is an east bay dog pack adventures company however last week we had a chance to travel to the city and spend two days romping through Glen Park Canyon and Fort Funston.  We had a blast exploring the new sights and smells. Made a lot of new friends and even helped a lost dog find his way back to his pack.  Thank you San Francisco for being such a wondeful host city for your traveling adventures.
